AMG Vanadium continues its community outreach efforts by presenting to the Cambridge High School teachers on February 16th as part of their Teachers Professional Day. The Teachers were invited to learn about AMG Vanadium’s process and the opportunities for the students in our area.

For nearly two decades, AMG Vanadium (AMG V) has provided financial support to enrich the academic experience for STEM students at Cambridge, Meadowbrook, Buckeye Trail and John Glenn high schools. The Company recently presented each high school with a $2,000 check designated to support their math and science department programs.

AMG Vanadium’s President, Tom Centa, comments, “We are pleased to continue AMG Vanadium’s longstanding support of STEM educational programs in our community. Math and science disciplines help students develop analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills which are important for today’s manufacturing companies that compete in a global marketplace like we do.”

AMG Vanadium donates to Muskingum County Law Enforcement and Fire Departments

Consistent with AMG Vanadium’s Company Values of giving back to the community in which it operates, AMG Vanadium recently made donations to the Washington and Perry Township Fire Departments and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department. AMG extends their deepest gratitude to all of the first responders in Muskingum County who courageously serve our community.

Consistent with AMG Vanadium’s Company Values of giving back to the community in which it operates, AMG Vanadium recently made donations to the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Department, Cambridge Fire Department, and Byesville Fire Department. A special thanks from AMG Vanadium to all our local first responders who courageously and nobly serve our community.

AMG VANADIUM EMPLOYEES DONATE CANNED GOODS AND TOYS TO SALVATION ARMY

Consistent with AMG Vanadium’s Company Values of giving back to the community in which it operates, Zanesville AMG employees sponsored a canned food and toy drive to support those in need in our community. The items donated by employees were given to The Salvation Army of Zanesville to support their food basket distribution and Angel Tree program. AMG Vanadium presented a scholarship to Kiersten Keith-Hill at the recent Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce Witch’s BREW, which honors and recognizes exceptional women in the region. Kiersten is a Cambridge High School graduate and a STEM focused student at The Ohio State University. State Representative Adam Holmes, Javan Johnson from U.S. Congressman Troy Balderson’s District Office, and Brad Kennedy, Southeastern Ohio District Representative from U.S. Senator JD Vance’s District Office visited AMG Vanadium’s new Zanesville Plant on October 5, 2023 for a Company overview and Plant Tour with AMG Vanadium’s President, Tom Centa, and other AMG Vanadium leaders.


Muskingum County elected officials and civic leaders joined AMG Vanadium leadership at an Open House at their new Zanesville facility on October 4, 2023. Local leaders, whose support has been integral to AMG’s expansion efforts, were provided an update on the Company and offered a tour of the new Zanesville Plant.


AMG Vanadium hosted a number of Ohio’s state agency partners at an Open House on October 4, 2023 at our new Zanesville Plant. Represented were key leaders from the following agencies that have been critical to AMG Vanadium’s success during the Zanesville Plant expansion: Ohio Air Quality Development Authority, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, JobsOhio, Ohio Rail Development Commission, and Ohio Department of Transportation.

AMG Vanadium recently hosted the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce Adult Leadership Guernsey Class for a program which featured an overview of AMG Vanadium and a brief plant tour. AMG Vanadium provides Zane State scholarship


During the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce Witches’ BREW event held on October 28, 2022, AMG Vanadium awarded a scholarship as part of the Chamber’s efforts to offer support for non-traditional female college students. The criteria to qualify for the scholarship are to live or work in Guernsey County, to have completed high school or a GED prior to 2015, and to be enrolled (or in the process of enrolling) in college during the 2022-2023 academic year.
