AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking a Quality System Specialist to join our growing team at our new Zanesville, Ohio facility. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and development of the site quality strategy, processes, policies, procedures, standards, and system, while ensuring integration and alignment with AMG V’s Cambridge facility. You will also be responsible for assisting in managing and auditing the Zanesville Plant’s Quality Management System in line with the required industry and ISO standards.

Summary

AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our growing team at our Cambridge, Ohio facility. In this position, you will be engaged in Maintenance strategy development and be responsible for supporting the goals and objectives of the Maintenance team by utilizing AMG V’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to develop and monitor the Company’s asset maintenance plan. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the safe, effective, and timely planning of predictive and reactive maintenance of the Cambridge Plant assets, while minimizing downtime impact on production. This will be accomplished by planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, equipment access, and any external contractors needed to complete the work on time and on budget.

  • Advise and support team leaders with accurate data entry, backlog work orders, work order management and component parts; review and analyze data and prepare reports as required
  • Monitor all equipment and component warranty programs, ensure warranty work is claimed in a timely manner, and all warranty issues are resolved
  • Participate in the preparation of the Plant’s Maintenance budget and other asset purchases as needed; monitor Maintenance costs and cost drivers; identify variances to budget and offer budget variance explanation
  • Monitor actual performance and maintenance activity against targets and the maintenance plan, reporting variances in a timely manner to assist in corrective action to maintain targets
  • Support Lean Manufacturing goals and objectives for Maintenance and Operations
  • Coach and mentor Maintenance employees to improve performance and adherence to departmental goals
  • Actively participates in break downs, outages and audits
  • Serve as back-up Operations Supervisor as needed

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with fixed maintenance operations, planning, and scheduling; heavy industrial experience strongly preferred
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling and/or project management certification a plus

AMG Aluminum North America, LLC (AMG Al NA) is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our organization and support our Henderson, Kentucky and Wenatchee, Washington plants. This position will be based in Cambridge, Ohio at the AMG Al NA headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for the accounting and financial transactions and reporting for the AMG Al NA division, including all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and audit coordination. This position will report to the Company Controller.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Comply with all AMG and AMG Al NA policies and procedures, including safety, environmental requirements, and AMG’s Code of Business Conduct; lead by example for the AMG Al NA team
  • Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including preparation of journal entries, account variance analysis, and coordination of audits
  • Generate accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, in compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Establish financial systems, schedules, and metrics that provide regular updates to management on the division’s financial status; maintain, document, and review processes to ensure internal controls

Summary

AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all facets of the Company’s controls and electrical system at the Cambridge facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Comply with all AMG V safety and environmental policies and procedures, including the AMG Code of Business Conduct, as well as OSHA safety standards
  • Manage arc flash (NFPA 70E) and electrical LOTO programs
  • Supervise engineering technician
  • Responsible for maintaining plant electrical distribution infrastructure and equipment upgrades as needed
  • Responsible for plant process control equipment and facilitate upgrades
  • Recommend, plan, and implement capital projects from start to finish to achieve optimum plant performance and reliability while minimizing power costs
  • Support maintenance department through technical consultation and troubleshooting/problem solving
  • Serve as liaison with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and insurance representatives

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology required; MS or MBA a plus
  • 7-10 years’ manufacturing experience required
  • Metallurgical, steel, chemical or petrochemical plant industry experience a plus
  • Equipment testing/troubleshooting experience required
  • HMI programming experience required, Inductive Automation/Ignition a plus
  • PLC experience required, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix a plus
  • NFPA70E Electrical Arc Flash experience a plus

Responsibilities and Duties

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; Associate degree in a technical field preferred

  • Able to work 12-hour swing/rotation shifts (weekends included)
  • Able to follow procedures with accuracy
  • Knowledge of chemistry and lab equipment helpful
