LIMEADD™

AMG Vanadium produces a material called LimeAdd™ (FGD gypsum) through the reaction of hydrated lime and sulfur dioxide in the Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) unit.

As with many other FGD by products, AMG V’s LimeAdd™ has many beneficial uses including waste solidification, waste stabilization, and metal stabilization. Additionally, LimeAdd™ can be used to solidify semi-liquid wastes such as drilling muds and cuttings, so they can be taken to landfills safely.

Customers who utilize LimeAdd™ in their process see cost savings compared to using other lime-based products in addition to knowing they have a reliable source for material.
