AMG Vanadium provides financial support to area high schools

For the ninth consecutive year, AMG Vanadium has provided financial support to enrich the academic experience at Buckeye Trail, John Glenn, Meadowbrook, and Cambridge high schools. Each school was presented with a donation of $1,000 designated for their math and science departments.

As a strong supporter of education, AMG Vanadium routinely conducts plant tours, offers internships to local students, and provides financial support to local high schools and colleges. “The education of our youth, particularly in the math and science fields, is critically important not only to us now, but also as we look to the future. With a number of technical positions, it’s important for our employees to possess basic math skills, as well as higher level analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills. These skills, which are acquired from a sound math and science education, are essential for us to remain competitive in a global marketplace,” commented Mr. Hoy E. Frakes, Jr., President of AMG Vanadium.
