AMG Vanadium Announces Promotion of Tyrel Jocabsen

Spet 17 tlj1 795AMG Vanadium LLC (AMG V) annouced the promotion of Tyrel L. Jacobsen to Melt Shop Manager and Extractive Metallurgist, effective immediately. In this new role, Tyrel will assume leadership responsibilities for AMG V’s melting operation and Melt Shop teams. A native of Burlington, Colorado, Tyrel joined AMG Vanadium in January, 2017 as an Extractive Metallurgist after graduating from Colorado School of Mines (CSM) in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and a minor in Science, Technology and Energy Policy. While at CSM, Tyrel was involved in numerous leadership roles, including serving as the student representative on the CSM Board of Trustees. AMG Vanadium’s Plant Manager, Todd Richardson, comments, “We are very pleased to have Tyrel take on expanded responsibilities in our Melt Shop Department. Having graduated from such a prestigous metallurgical engineering college, Tyrel brings good technical knowledge to this role and we look forward to his leadership on the team.”
