FeNiMoly® from AMG Vanadium affords significant cost savings over traditional nickel and molybdenum alloys.
AMG Vanadium produces a ferronickel-molybdenum alloy – FeNiMoly®. FeNiMoly® is produced along with the continuous production of ferrovanadium and provides a cost savings to customers through its replacement of virgin nickel and molybdenum products. FeNiMoly® is available in ingots which are used to produce NiMo stainless steel such as Type 316, Type 317, and Types T-318 and T-319, or as further refined Pigs used in NiMo stainless steels and AISI 4300, 8600, and 8700 series steels for special bar quality applications
Our refined alloy is provided with a certificate of analysis …. it is not a scrap. Our customers realize significant savings over traditional nickel and molybdenum alloys, with no premiums added to LME values for nickel or molybdenum, or the higher costs of ferromolybdenum. FeNiMoly® is a highly reliable choice for improving the performance of refined steel as an addition when cost-effective hardening and corrosion-resistance are required in steel grades.
