Summary
AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator, with prior administration experience, to assist with the day-to-day activities, implementation, administration of HR programs and offer support to the operations team at its manufacturing facility in Zanesville, Ohio.
Responsible and Duties:
• Answers and directs phone calls.
• Organizes and schedules interviews and appointments, as needed.
• Assists with the coordination of employee onboarding, including orientation.
• Writes and distributes emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and postings.
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
• Monitors hourly attendance program.
• Provides support in relation to maintenance and processing of employee records and reports, including the organization of an employee electronic filing system.
• Assists with recruitment tasks as needed (reviews applications, interviews, references, background verifications and scheduling of pre-employment drug screens and physicals).
• Assists with the maintenance and coordination of employee recognition programs and Company events.
• Maintains training software database.
• Supports Front Desk/Reception, as needed.
Qualifications/Skills/Requirements
• High school diploma required, Associate degree in Human Resources or business-related preferred; two years of job-related administrative/customer service experience, greatly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Systems; Strong Excel skills greatly preferred.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
• Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
• Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task and function effectively in fast-paced changing/evolving environment
• Team player
• Relationship building skills.
