Human Resources Coordinator

AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our growing team! You will provide administrative and project management support, serve as a point of contact for employee assistance and information, interact daily with employees to assist in resolution of questions and/or issues, assist with recruiting, and be responsible for data management and personnel records.  

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Comply with all AMG V policies and procedures, including safety, environmental requirements and AMG’s Code of Business Conduct
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Provide Support with benefit administration
  • Maintain and monitor HR’s social media presence under the guidance of HR Leadership
  • Assist with recruitment and interview process. Develop an internal resume tracking system, track and maintain candidate records, schedule interviews, and manage end-to-end communication with applicants
  • Schedule meetings and plan meetings under the guidance of HR leadership
  • Aid with new employee on-boarding and employee training
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents
  • Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
  • Accurately maintain employee files
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information
  • Track all employees disciplinary action including, but not limited to, absenteeism

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

  • High school diploma and Associate Degree in HR or Business-related program required
  • Two years of job-related human resource department experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Power Point) or related software
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Flexible work hours required occasionally
